Animation specles in Glass.

I'm rendering out a fly-through but on my glass front where the glass panes meet I get speckles which flicker in the animation. Don't think it's a GI problem so would would increasing the vray material subdivision settings for it help. At the moment I'm using:

Reflection: Subdiv: 8 max depth: 5

Refraction: Subdiv:12 max depth: 10

Here are 2 frames where you can see it.

On a different note when editing the images in PS and saving them I then brought into the folder the rest of the images in the sequence. Win7 doesn't sort them by name which is a real pain even when I ask it to. Anyone else had this problem as importing them into Premier is now a pain.

Try ticking the box to clamp the colorspace, and subpixel mapping. It is under color space tab or something like that. I don't have access to Vray right now to tell you the proper terminology.

As for you other question, ...Win7 sorts my files fine by name. I am not sure of you computer experience, but you are clicking the name column in the explorer dialog box right?

Thanks for getting back to me Travis. I tired upping the subdiv and depth to 25 and 16 on reflec and refract but that didn't help. I just tried what you suggested and checked subpixel mapping and clamp out (left at default of 1.0) but still there. I wondered if it was a reflection but in the two images I posted you can see it jump so i don't think it's that either. banging my head against a wall here trying to sort it out. IR was set at min 0 max 2 and 40 by 60 sub divs,LC was set at 4500 so fairly high settings.

As to the windows 7 thing I have quite a lot of computer experience and never had this problem before. Lets say I render out 100 frames but need to edit frames 40 -60 in PS. I like to keep the original renders in one folder so save the edited ones to another then copy over the missing frames 0-40 and 60 - 100. Now when I click to arrange by name (kitchen 0001 - kitchen 0100) it sorts them out with the edited ones either at the start or end of the folder as if sorted by date modified and not by name.

DOH! Just rechecked all the image names. I have 2 spaces between the original files name and number and only 1 in the edited ones! It's always the little things.
