3ds max 2009 64 bit crash

Hello everyone, i need some advice.

Im using 3ds max 2009 64 bit with vray sp4a and it crashes alot when i pan zoom or after working on it for 20 min it just starts to choke. Anyone had same issue and knows how to fix it i would appreciate help.

my system is win 7 64 bit intel i7 920 with 8gb ram.

Do you have the correct drivers loaded?

How big is the file as you using massive amount of object on the screen.

It is something simple I guarantee you.
