mbr
First, seach through the forum, as your question has been asked before and there have been many good responses. Next, I'd do a little more research - there are numerous CG companies in England, including Smoothe which Jeff Mottle (the gracious host of our beloved CG Architect) is part of. http://www.smoothe.com/s/ There are also many talented CG firms such as The Mill (http://www.mill.co.uk/) that do wonderful work. To work for yourself or try to find a job depends one several factors, probably too many to go into without knowing more about your experience, portfolio, hardware, resources (like money), etc., etc.
3dp
hmm tricky chicken and egg bottom line go and work for someone (for now) if nothing else you'll get a wage (and probably not a lot £$ = experience+skill x b.s. factor /what u get away with) if you start out on your own in this day and age unless you have a lot (and i mean a lot ) of clients feeding you business - you'll starve get a portfolio of real work and clients then go solo or whatever but you need a foot in the door strat may disagree but i'd not recommed architects as given your age and background you'll end up doing too much architecture as for visualisation specialists they are everywhere and it depends on your skill and how much you can afford to get by on
DAN212222
CHEERS GUYS Think you rright about the architect firms, i will end up getting bullied back into doing technical drawing which i really dont want to be doing, im the only student i know who bought a house too with some of the money i earned while working as an architect technician so basically i need to keep up mortgage payments and stuff too. wait and see suppose lol see what amount of work i can get via freelance?
