danshewan
Hey everyone, I've been a lurker for a while now, but thought the time had come to register and start becoming more actively involved in the arch-viz community. I've been working with 3D for a few years, primarily as a modeler using Maya initially before transitioning to 3ds Max, but have recently been working at improving my texturing and rendering skills with a focus on environmental and architectural work. I'm a long-time member of CGTalk, and look forward to posting some work and contributing to this fine community. So, howdy!

ihabkal
so which is better Maya or Max?
danshewan
I won't use such a loaded term as 'better', but I personally find Max's modeling tools far superior, whereas Maya's animation system, camera controls and lighting system are preferable. Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.
