Devin Johnston
There is a gap between the columns that are supposed to be holding your porch up and the porch it's self and the shadow of the tree in the foreground doesn't look right compared to the shadow of the house. The lighting levels look good but you should think about moving your sun to the other side of the house that we're looking at. It's generally not a good idea to have the subject of your rendering in shadow, by moving the sun you'll lighten up things like the windows which are reading very dark and lifeless right now. I'd also put some of those bushes around the house and add some bump or displacement to the grass to give it some texture and break up the tiling effect that's going on with your map. Overall it's a good start, keep it up.
aristocratic3d
First of all I think you better post it in WIP section of the forum. Anyway here are my comments- 1. In this scene I honestly can say that only tree models are looking great. other than that its just plain messi. 2. Grass tiling are always a minus. 3. I see anti aliasing issue. may be you are using area filter. 4. you are using liner color mapping I guess what is making your wall washed out. you better try reinhard. 6. your building looks like standing on a hill. May be this is what you need. 7. you have to increase your irrediance map during final render. 8. There are some other issues what Devin already mentioned. Anyway, Overall it's a good start, keep it up.
