New monitor purchase help needed

OK, so I want to upgrade from my 22" LG to a 26-28" range. I am not sure on brand, I just really want a monitor with the fastest refresh rate with a DVI port and that has a adjustable stand up and down/tilt, etc. 1920x1200 res would be awesome but I will settle for 1920x1080. TN panel is probably the only thing in my budget range, so I am ok with that, unless someone can find me an IPS for less than $400.

Use will be for cad, sketchup, kerkythea and thea rendering, photoshop cs4, and some light gaming.

 

My current system specs are:

eVGA X58 Tri-SLI

i7 920 D0 @ 3.6ghz

Corsair H50

12gigs G Skill PIs 1600mhz Model #: F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI

eVGA GTX275

Some Harddrives

Corsair hx750 psu

Antec 1200 case

Win7 Pro 64-bit

 

 

My budget is no more than $350/shipped.

 

Bring on the suggestions.

Hi Chris,

 

For 3D-visuals I would't look to the "fastest" monitor, so fastest refresh rate isn't important. So maybe not a top screen. but for example look out for monitors with dynamic contrast, they make you crazy when tweaking colours.
