I basically ran into a dead end, ive been increasing my irradiance/light cache settings and im still having these weird things appearing on my image. My setting are as follows: Primary/secondary------irradiance/LC Irradiances subdivs------80 high preset Samples----------------30 LC subdivs--------------1500 sample size--------------.01 Adaptive dmc min:2 max:6 Clr thrsh: .001 Im only lighting the scene with vray environment and a direct light for the sun, maybe thats the problem? i decided idk why not to use area vray lights in window openings. Thx in advance for your help
Logitek
Hi Said, Check if all your materials are Vray Materials (Standard materials aren't so good with Vray) or if you have VrayLightMaterials with very high values. These are the 2 things that come to mind... It might be something else, but check these first. good luck!
michaelidesm
Maybe its something which has to do with one object in the scene. It happened to me once. i had to hide all objects and then i was un-hiding them one after the other until i found the problematic object.
neil poppleton
A dodgy material somewhere . Turn objects off in batches and re-render until it disappears.
rossy007
could be wrong but it looks like some kind of caustics. I had the same issue and found a wine glass was the problem. You may want to look at any glass material in the scene.
