Flash in Arch-Viz?

Does Flash have any relevance to architectural visualisation? It is an interesting visualising and animation tool but can it be, or is it, incorporated into the workflow of artists. The obvious benefits of interaction are a benefit yet is it common within the field or is it something for the future?

We've used it in the past to create an interactive presentation where we linked together a series of 360° QTVRs that you could access by clicking on a site plan. It's not a program we use on a regular basis though.

It's 2D by nature, there are some interesting 3D engines for Flash - not to mention AR, but it fills a presentation role more than anything else.
