YOHKOH Posted December 2, 2010 Share Posted December 2, 2010 Hello chaps I'm importing a model from sketchup. There are a variety of objects which will all be given a brick texture. Problem is some of these objects behave differently when I apply a UVW map. Even when I drap and drop the UVW modifier from one object to another I will get different scaling. I tried a reset xfrom but it is greyed out when I select the object. I also tired converting to editable poly but this makes no difference. It's as if there is some underlying dcoordinate system brought over sketchup. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stephen Thomas Posted December 2, 2010 Share Posted December 2, 2010 I've found that the best thing to do when importing from sketchup is create a block, convert to editable poly, then attach your objects to it and delete the original block.
