braddewald
I was just working on a project in AutoCAD when all of the sudden my orbit command started acting funny. It gave me a dialogue saying: Walk and fly operations are only available when your working view is set to perspective. Toggle to a perspective view? And now whenever I orbit, this dialogue box comes up, changes my view mode to perspective and gives me a camera positioning tool. WHAT HAPPENED!? AutoCAD is useless to me now without being able to orbit my view comfortably. P.S. The same problem has been documented before with no solution ever mentioned: http://forums.cgarchitect.com/35740-3d-constrained-orbit-issues.html http://forums.cgarchitect.com/35511-2009-fly-bugging-me.html http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?34805-Warning-Walk-Fly-Perspective-Pop-up
mark.wallner
Hey braddewald! Have you tried checking the "D" box for "Don't Repeat"? (I have no friggin' idea what THAT means, but that was someone else's response to the same question on CADTutor.com; http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?30219-Constrained-Orbit) I hope it makes more sense to you than it does to me... Good luck!
neko
try two things... 1.) change your visual style to 2D wireframe and see if that still pops up. 2.) turn off PERSPECTIVE (0) - it's a system variable. Not 100% sure, but I think that happened to me before when doing renderings in Autocad once.
