mfured20
Hey Justin I am not fluent in the sketchup/maxwell workflow, so I will just give some overall impressions. - Light up the windows. Make it look like something is happening inside. That will help get some color into the image, and a little life. - The exterior fill light, the blue, is good, but very flat. I would consider trying to localize it, as if the moon was just peaking over the horizon or something, and have just a touch more light coming in from either the right of the left. that will help accentuate the shadows on the model and give it a some depth. - Make sure that, in whichever windows are dark, you have something across the street behind the camera that can be reflected in them. Just a photo on a plane would be fine, but you need to give this rather austere building a home with some real surroundings. - Think about things like Streetlights. You don't have to put them in, especially not with a building framed like this, but their lights will probably have some sort of impact on the building, bouncing light off of the sidewalk and up onto the walls. Good luck!
