shikodesign2000
Hi, After making one animation shot which contains some vray proxy trees, I found that there is non stable pixels in these trees, these pixels act as they are dancing, that is happening when I move the camera, but no problem in stable camera shots... I need to know which settings exactly is responsible for this problem??

F J
u never replied back to my suggestion in ur previous thread: also if Light Cache is set to Screen instead of World could cause pixel swimming for animations..
shikodesign2000
Sorry, but I have an animation must be delivered very soon, never intend anything, and thanks for you care in all cases. Anyway, I use screen not world, I think world will take too much time, right?
F J
i havent really compared the times for both settings, but u can quickly test a single frame to compare times.. anyway, the World setting is said to deal with pixel swimming..
shikodesign2000
Hi my friend, I'm posting 2 links for animation sample, and my settings. Please take care of the unstable pixels in the tree especially in shadow area. For this animation sample I changed the secondary illumination from light cache to brute force + irradiance as first illumination, but these unstable pixels still there. Also, I changed the output compressor from avi to quick time_sorenson 3, I think also that is better. Here are the links: http://www.mediafire.com/?8vvkkwyn6m8j89h http://www.mediafire.com/?7t8998a2tstxrl4 Here is another links for other sample, but I used light cache as secondary solution: http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=5gibu1y8t511tt2&thumb=4 http://www.mediafire.com/?d9oao8ofq6lge7t I think the problem is very obvious in buildings and palms but so obvious in the trees areas... I don't know if the solution is only in raising some settings, cause I already tried to raise them without good result. I hope to have your help soon. Crazy Homeless Guy
Use Adaptive DMC and a AA filter that is suitable for animation, if you use an AA filter at all. You are currently using Adaptive Subdivision and a Sharpening filter.
shikodesign2000
Do you mean that catmull rom is not good, so what's the good filter in your openion?
John Dollus
area filter should be fine. anything in the description that mentions blur is good for video and anything that mentions sharpening or pronounced edge is bad for video
