RyanSpaulding
Anyone got a real efficient and easilt editable way/tutorial? I appreciate the response in my terrain question as well. Contours are working well!
Chad Warner
Depends on what kind of Arch you are talking about.

RyanSpaulding
Arches the go over doorways....just a raised arch. I just want it to be easily editable (change the degree of the arch) and smooth.

noi-pi
The model was meant for arch doorways. But anyway here is what i did in less than 5 min. 1. Make an arc (Arc01) then apply Extrude modifier. Under arc, interpolation steps determines your number of segments. 2. Clone copy (Arc02), apply Normal modifier. 3. Go back to Arc01 convert to Editable Poly. Select top Polys then Extrude. Now attach Arc02 then Weld vertices. 4. Chamfer the Edges (use Loop in selecting Edges), select the Keystone polygons and Extrude. 5. Select the Edges for the segments and Extrude. 6. Select the corner edges and chamfer. The finished image has been applied with Smooth modifier. Hope this helps.
