Sketch up and land works importing problem

I been trying to import my auto cad file to sketch up and the only thing that gets imported is one layer of lines, no walls, no windows no furniture only the parking lines that I drew and a solid over hang, is something wrong with my layers and how can I fix plz help soon

are there layers off in SU?

 

try turning the different sections in ACAD into blocks, and importing them.

 

What settings are you using?

xrefs

if there are xrefs, make sure they are bound into the scene...

 

then make blocks out of the different components.
