mada
Hi for all, I am a senior year student, and my graduation project is about the site management, and the rehabilitation in an archeological site in Syria, I had no problems in the site management and urban planning, but the problem that I am facing is the building that I have to do it just in front the ruins, it have to be built from mud bricks, (for sustainability, and for developing the local architecture) The Problem that I am facing is: HOW TO MAKE THE MUD BRICKS MODERN? I need to have a silent mass, that doesn’t disturb the ruins and at the same time I need it to be visually interesting, can I make a cubic structure from metal columns and beams, and then fill it in with the bricks, or could I do it with wood? I am really confused since there are not so many references about the mad brick structure, If anyone have a suggestion or can name me a reference about that problem, I will be really grateful Mada,
