patrick_gift
Hello, I'm Patrick and I'm new here. I wanted to find out from anyone who has ordered and received the book how long took to arrive. I have been waiting for my copy for almost four months and was wondering whether this is within the normal time frame for delivery (I live in Kenya). I don't know how long its supposed to take, however I wanted to find out if I should be worried or just more patient. Any answer will be appreciated. Jeff Mottle
Hi Patrick, There are many countries in the world where books are stolen ALL the time and never reach the customer. If I recall, Africa in general is pretty bad. A book shipped overseas should not take more than 3-5 weeks, so I think it's safe to asssume that it's been lost or stolen. You should contact 3DATS and report this so they can reship the book. It's funny, a book can arrive to Australia in a few days and yet other places it takes over a month if it ever arrives at all. anejo
Maybe in the future the books will be downloadable? Or accessed online. Is this something that is being considered?

I have been at the selling end of books over to Africa and other nations, and it is true that in Africa books can get stolen by the ever efficient post office (hell, even the South African people make fun of these in their Madam And Eve cartoons!). There is also the fact of tax for taking it over the border. Sometimes, the post office or the border regulations will require you to pay 30% or even up to 50% of the original cost, such as in Venezula! So if you are going to get with 3DATS, please make sure you ask them to consider the over the border problem and ensure everything is covered through their end.
