Missing External Files - ?

I need help understanding why I'm getting a Missing External Files error in a scene. These are all missing jpgs.

 

None of my materials have these bitmaps associated with them.

 

A check of the entire scene reveals that nothing is relying on these bitmaps.

 

In fact, I deleted everything in the scene, saved the file under a different name, opened the file, and still get the messages.

 

A check of the Asset Manager shows that I indeed have these bitmaps somehow connected to this project.

 

Any thoughts?

 

Whenever this has occured in the past, I've been able to find and delete the material in the library and the problem was solved. Not so now.

 

I'm on Design 2010, BTW.

Maybe they are in the material editor? ...or double check to see if there is hidden geometry, or Xref'd geometry. If none of that works, check to see if there are scene state associated with the project. If so, try deleting them.

Was a problem for me. But rather than worrying about deleting the missing files, I just relink all of them using Colin Senner's script. Solved my problem.

CHG, left over scene states it was, lol. I completely forgot about checking those and sure enough that did the trick. Tnx for the assist.

 

Oh, and tnx to other guys as well for that script. Looks great.
