Wrender
Here's some critiques for you: 1. Currently it is nearly impossible to ascertain what materials the building is made of. I would work on those first and foremost. The glass should have more reflection, materials should have more bump/texture. 2. Lighting - can't tell if the walls are green/blue or you have some weird lighting going on to make it appear that way. The image lacks an overall depth - I would utilize a direct sunlight and possible AO dirt map? The sky contrasts too much with how the background landscape is illuminated. The terrain in the background is too dark - makes it difficult to understand the horizon line and how the actual building is situated on the land. I would use a more subdued sky map, and turn up the exposure slightly on your building. 3. Modeling - everything needs more detail. It appears as though the edge of the driveway or walkway is a cliff edge. If this really is the case, you'd need some sort of railing. You need modeling information to gives clues as to what the building is used for. Is it commercial? or residential? Think about exterior furniture, planting beds, etc. 4. Scale - the people look way to small in the image. Unless that canopy is 20' in the air, the people should be double what the appear to be. Consider other things that give sense of scale such as cars, bollards, furniture, etc. Keep going - hope you can eventually make this into a "world class render"! Stan Zaslavsky
good start - just a quick question - have a look at your roof - it seems to be out of square with the walls on the top left hand side. i guess once your lighting is improved - it will come up a lot clearer. as Ryan said - keep going!
