Smooth reflection cut off

Hey there. I already posted this on another forum but it seems like one is helped here pretty quickly and friendly too. I have a problem that I cannot find a solution for. I think the picture itself explains best. It's just one cubic room with the lights as the only light source.

You can see that the reflection of the light, instead of fading out is suddenly cut off, whereas in other areas it's fading. The reflection map shows darker areas here, but they are completely blurred and not black. (Red marks the same area as in the rendering)

I attached material as well as render settings. Maybe someone has a clue. Thank you already!

Basically it's just a test. I'm looking for different ways to achive realistic wooden surfaces. So wooden floor with fresnel was the start. But looking at wooden surfaces you will notice much more detailing in different reflections and so on.

Travis,

I do not know if elkpan will be back but here is a quote he left at vraymaterials_de:

"Yes, R Glossiness was my guess too and it seems like you were right. No strange edges here. However there must be a way to get it to work Smile Anyway thank you very much, I think you're advice got me in the right direction.

Maybe because it's a multi-sub object with the wood material in one slot. I will give it another try. "

I'm still here. No worries. Just didn't have time to answer yet. Tried out your tip with the cut-off. It was set to 0,01 and I set it to 0,001, no changes there but thanks anyway. Do you think it could be the falloff settings?
