nickdk
Can anyone recommend a MAX/Vray 2.0 renderfarm? I have tried renderflow but they can't render 2.0 yet, and rebus isn't working me for, it fails on the last step of the getting the project ready flow :S I prefer something with a interface where I can do it myself, but any tips are welcome I have searched the forum with no luck, i looked at respower but their website looks like it's from the middle ages.. (update - i'm trying Ranchcomputing now... i hope it works ) Edited January 13, 2011 by nickdk
soreal
hi, did you use ranch in the end? if so, would you recommend them? thanks, chris
nickdk
Hello Chris, Yes I used Ranchcomputing for the still renderings and their services are good but the cost is pretty extreme. I have some problems with Rebusfarm, if I was able to use them in my workflow I would have done that instead
Jordan 3D Animation
Hi there, i know you've resolved this but i couldnt help but notice your issue with ranch computing, i had the same problem on my last project, however a slightly smaller company name "RenderNow" pretty much annihalated all the price quotes i had got, if you do need work done including any vray these guys handled my last job extremley well, real friendly bunch
QuakeMarine1
what was the problem with my Rebus farminizer ? andre
TJunkers
I used Rebus not too long ago for a VRay render and it was great just very very expensive. Luckily the client paid for the rendering or I would have cried haha. Was over $450 in the end for a short fly-through!
QuakeMarine1
well all I (and other ) do is counting time to render a job the faster it is the more cheaper it is but the rendertime do not affect the farm - its the user with setup for GI antialising etc ...
