JayTee
My question is, what kind of setting do you professionals use when rendering A4 and A3 size print quality architectural renderings? Do you have some regular Irradiance map, light cache, anti-aliasing and other settings you prefer? This is not meant to be contest about who uses the highest values, but rather getting better idea what are the standard or preferred settings in this area. It´s probably good idea to mention what kind of computer you are using to put things in perspective. Thanks in advance for any input on this. nelpiper
I know sometimes is confusing but your question is wide open and it´s dependent on your scene. For exterior scenes (fly-throughs and stills): IR 50/30 (minimal) LC 1500 samples Adpative DMC 1/16 for interiors (animation and stills): IR 50/40 (minimal) LC 2500 samples Adaptive DMC 1/16 These are the settings I tend to use but they can change depending on the scene and complexity. They serve as guideline though. Hope it helps. Good luck.
