andymcnair
Hi, does anyone know if there's a converter for opening max 5 files in max / viz 4? I seem to remember reading it somewhere but it might just be my overactive imagination. Thanks, Andy
Craig Ramsay
Andy there is a script called back from five that will do the trick... I will e-mail it to you Craig
quizzy
check this as well: http://www.cgarchitect.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=000235 you have to have a copy of MAX5 to do this though..... but then again, if you would have MAX5, why would you ask this question... So, you don't own MAX5; then there is no way of converting. If you know someone who does have MAX5 just ask him to run that script Back from Five. And then its no fuzz to import it into VIZ or MAX....

andymcnair
Got your email Craig, thank you, will give it a blast and hope it works. Quizzy, i searched the site because i was SURE there was something here....but came up with nothing - thanks for the link, proves I'm not going mad, yet. I think we have a demo of Max 5 from the Computer Arts mag, will see if that does the trick.
