odyzmil
Hello all, Im facing a small but yet silly problem about my reflections. See the image attached. The large panel's windows are all facing downwards therefore reflecting on the pavement and street etc. What I actually need is to be reflection on the surrounding across the building(other buildings etc). I cannot come up with an answer and I know this is silly but is there any way to make it reflect onto something else and not to what it actually sees? Thanks in advance
luckyluc
photoshop is the only thing i can think of
Ricardo Eloy
This might sound silly, but why would you want to show an impossible reflection? I mean, if the glass is facing down, it WILL reflect the pavement. If you change that, you will be changing the design itself...
Nic H
doesn't matter though, if something looks bad it looks bad regardless of teh design. i would put an invisible to camera plane in front of the window with the reflection map on it. Koper
or lower the camera alloooot, so that the viewing angle reveals the enviro in the glass
acjwalker
personally just photoshop it out, and place in new reflections, then if the client has issues with the reflection not being correct its only a few tweeks in photoshop and its bk to its rubbish state. though changing the reflections may harm the image. John Pruden
tough call... I'd at least try putting a reflection plane in front at NicNic suggested, and if that doesn't yield good results, use render elements ObjectID and photoshop in the reflections the way you want them. Alternatively, you could leave it and make that area below the windows more interesting... add plants, etc...
