johnc
Hi I am new around here and also new to 3D content creation tools. I have been learning to use Blender for the past few months but have not tried other tools like 3ds max yet. I would like to know if anyone has tried using Export to X3D from 3ds max on their 3D models and would care to show what the result looked like compared to what the rendered result looked like. Does 3ds max have a built in Export to X3D plugin or do you need to use a third party plugin to Export to X3D. If anyone could provide a link to some sample content that was exported to X3D it would be much appreciated. Thanks John
johnc
You can view some samples of simple 3D content that has been Exported to X3D from Blender at this site. Just click on the buttons Sample1 through Sample6 to view some simple content in X3D format and left click and drag your left mouse button to navigate through the content in 3D in your web browser. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5095342/web3d/web16.html
