gazbo
Hi all, Anyone know if there's a quick way of completely exploding a mesh into separate polys without individually detatching them all. Bit of a weird one, never needed to do it before but it'd save me some time on a current project. Cheers
jinsley
not completely sure but maybe select all faces + explode @ 90 degree angle?
Ricardo Eloy
Just make sure it's an editable mesh and not a poly and you can literally explode it into several elements or even faces. Just take a look at the mesh's modifier.
gazbo
hmm trouble is most of the faces I want to explode are coplanar, and explode is based on the angles between faces. It's not a big deal just thought I could save myself a wee bit of time. Cheers.
Peter M. Gruhn
Editable Poly. Select all the edges. Split. Select all the elements. Soulburn Scripts's (google it) Object Detacher.
