Ivan Pajares
Can anybody direct me to a document that describes how does VIZ's exposure controls work. I mean the inner thinking in it and the algorythms employed, I have a rough idea of how it fits the brightest and darkest point and the function curves it seems to use but I would like to have positive knowledge of it. Thanks in advance
Bhanu
I am also interested... I find Automatic exposure works better with materials but gives a lot contrast between surfaces. Especially interiors ceilings go very dark in spite of keeping many lights exclusively for it. Logarithmic exposure is praised by Masters like FRAN ...but needs lot of tweaking on material. still bit difficult to control. overall output. mostly it looks washed out... We are still with Viz 4.0, waiting for Viz 2005....may be some of these are answered better...
