daniel123
Sorry if I make a mistake asking the questions. I'm a student majoring in architecture. I'm doing this for my career research project. Can you also send me your phone number to my email address. Its for verification purposes for my teacher. If not, its all good. My email is dmai555@yahoo.com Please answer the best you can. Thanks. 1. How many original designs have you made in your whole career? 2. Are you self-employed or working in a company? 3. How did you decide to get into this field? 4. What training did you receive to prepare you for this position? Would you recommend this training for others who wanted to get in this field? 5. What are the opportunities for advancement or promotion? 6. What kind of benefits do you get for this field? (retirement plans, vacation days, insurance, etc)
STRAT
1. How many original designs have you made in your whole career? 0 2. Are you self-employed or working in a company? both 3. How did you decide to get into this field? CGI was just virgining when i entered the field of architecture, it seamed like a blast, so i pursued it. never looked back. 4. What training did you receive to prepare you for this position? Would you recommend this training for others who wanted to get in this field? no CGI training, and only 2 years part time in architectural college. but over 20 years experience in the trade. for a nube looking to enter the CGI Viz trade now i'd recommend to thoroughly learn your software and get a couple of years basic archi training under your belt to ground you and start you off. 5. What are the opportunities for advancement or promotion? In archi-viz? not much when in full time employment. but on a free lance bases the opportunities are up to you. the more experienced, better and well known with a good name you become the more you can charge. 6. What kind of benefits do you get for this field? (retirement plans, vacation days, insurance, etc) Similar answer to above - if employed you'll get whatever package of perks the company offers. if self employed the option is all yours (email and phone supplied)
