Nic H Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 you will need to use boujou or pftrack etc to track the footage and make a camera to import into max as far as i know you cannot do it inside max then again you could actually be talking about something completely different can you use an image sequence on a plane or something? hkbasravi Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 There is a Motion Tracker feature inside 3ds Max. It's not as user friendly imho as PF Track. However, it is there, and there are tutorials for it. You can access it by going to the hammer icon in your modifier stack, and select Camera Tracker. Or if you use after effects, there's a tracking feature in AE that's the most user friendly one I've come across. The problem with that is that you cannot export AE Cameras in to max without this boomerlabs plugin called Max2AE. I haven't tried the plugin because I run a Mac OS, and its only for windows.
