Michael J. Brown
I've been very used to using 1,2,3,4&5 to toggle on/off my Vertex, Edge, Border, Polygon & Element selection types within the Edit Poly modifier (with editable poly selected, of course) on my machine at work, instead of having to click directly on the selection type GUIs. But on my fresh install of Max 2011 at home, the number shortcuts only work to turn the selections on. They won't toggle both on & off. I end up having to go click on the selection type to turn it off. How do I set them to toggle both on & off using just the number shortcuts? matthewgriswold
6, but don't hit it twice or you'll toggle your edit poly off and open PFlow. I'm sure there is a way to create new shortcut keys so you can use the number for both on and off, but I'm not sure of the procedure. I know it works this way for edit spline, but never understood why not for edit poly?
Peter M. Gruhn
Wonder if it's the shortcut override button. I need to look into that someday to see what, other than confusing me, it's for ;-)
Michael J. Brown
That may be it. I forgot where that button is, but I'll dig around.
