I'm not sure about the sun lights. I put a vraysun and a vraydome with a hdri in textures slot. The interior lights are photometrics ones except in the pool where I used vraylight plane. I'd like this image to be more realistic but don't really know what to do to improve it... C&C are very welcome Bye Chris Edited February 1, 2011 by mouarffff
Koper
oooh, Nice render so far! I like the lighting in it. I think you're best move from here would be post production. Get different light colors onto the white walls. I also think harder reflections in the glass will work, look at dark and light reflections on windows, with dark reflections you actually see more interior, and light reflections you see more of the environment, thus if you see a palm tree reflected in the big window you'lle actually see the interior. You can also add some dirt in post onto the walls, everything is a bit clean at the moment. You are one the right track to making a truly beautiful image! keep going! mouarffff
Thanks for your replys and especially Koper for your quick work, increasing contrast gives the image more depth. As you said I'm gonna try to improve this image by post work. I already tried to use caustics in the water but I didn't manage to make it work correctly. I'll try to put caustics again. mouarffff
Hi everybody, I tried to follow koper's advices. Here is my new picture. I tried to put caustics but I didn't manage to create beautifull ones... I never had to use it and this scene has too many lights to learn using caustics. I'm gonna try on a smaller scene first. Waiting for your comments
