Gabriella_A
Hello to everyone... I'm doing some interiors for a interiors catalog... I've made a 3d scene... i'm using some hdri and the scene size grows to 600 mb... The scene it's not so big... so I tried to make it smaller (was about 300 mega yesterday... I changed only some maps...) Now the strange proglem... If I merge the scene into a totally new file, the size remain the same. If I delete ALL my objects in the scene, The size remain the same. I "purged" the materials editor, the bitmaps links... there is NO map in the scene, but the size is still 600 mb... If i "reset" the scene, ( keeeping the hdri enviornment in the slot), the size sets to a few of kb... but if I merge EVEN a cylinder from the previous scene, the size of the scene grows to 600mb!!! sure there is a problem with these scene... but what kind a problem is? please help, and forgive my english... That was the problem!! Thanks VERY much!! I never had a similar problem.... I didn't use Reactor... how these collision were generated? perhaps some imported models or the VrayFur ? Thanks again, It was really driving me mad.... (now the file is 59 mb!) Gabriella
Nic H
no problems! its a really annoying bug - took us a day to work it out. it comes in with materials and objects and can easily spread through all your files.
