Chad Warner
How about taking a 3d model and doing a hide of it?
Ernest Burden III
How about taking a 3d model and doing a hide of it? That's a good idea, of course. Here's some drawings, not CAD vector but could be traced, auto-traced (Adobe Streamline, for example (which I have if you don't)) or used as a bitmap in CAD: onnovanbraam.com
STRAT
thanks guys. i know about the tracing and hide options, but i was just looking for a quick fix of ready made 2d acad blocks for some of our 2d draftsmen to use.

No particular model of train? I was looking for a site with a ton of blocks and i-drop objects, but I cannot find it, it may be one that is down, but I found this: http://www.iobjects.co.uk/ search objects for 'train' and find 8 'classic' trains this site http://cben.net/ has a lot of blocks, and some trains under 'vehicles>heavy eq' but they are very basic. this one http://www.autodrop.net/ is the 'good' one I think, but it's down.
