How do I make my images higher resolution?

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by.

I am currently rendering an interior scene, using Max 2011, with Vray. I am saving my images as .png, but even though they are 1800 x 1200 pixels- they are only 72 dpi. I REALLY need them to be higher than 72dpi because I will be using these images for more than online use.

Thanks so much!

Sincerely,

Vi

(And, I am sure a little surfing and investigating could solve this issue as well, but I am working with a deadline so I thought might as well try many options to get my answer :D)

It shouldn't really matter so long as the pixel dimensions are 1800x1200. If you like you can change the resolution in Photoshop either by using the crop tool set up to the desired ppi and size or you can change these values in image size (ctrl+alt+i).
