re vit
Does anybody have a clue how put a procedural tile map in a concentric (radial\helix-like) way? Thank you in advance. R .
Bruce Hart
There are several ways to do this. If say you used the sweep modifier to extrude a rectangle along a helix, you will be able to check the generate mapping coordinates tickbox. You can then play with the tileing parameters in the tile material to acheive the mapping size you want. Lofting and spline mapping (UVWunwrap) also allows you to generate mapping along a path. If you are using a helix for the loft path you may need to apply a normailze spline modifier so the mapping appears not so jagged.
