RAYMOND
I am dwg a plan set for 2 aircraft hangers which are exactly the same except for some different locations of side doors and windows. wasn't real sure how to do this, I know a whole building can't be a family or at least don't see that as a good option. any suggestions thnx R
Jason Matthews
I would be looking at doing two separate Revit files and then linking one into the other. As for the extremely similar designs, you could potentialy do one building and then save the building as another file. Then edit the doors accordingly. The upside to this would be that you would have two different sets of documents incase only one building is permitted. The down side is that you will need to make changes twice (once to each building). Another option is to use design options if everything is the same. I personally have never used design options but from what I hear it is just like turning on and off layer states in CAD.
