Animation Mental ray sky?

I have rendered out animation frames as targa files when I put them into adobe premiere elements the mental ray sky is black. any Ideas?

Just a guess but it probably has something to do with the targa files' alpha channel when you import them into Premier. Premier must be automatically applying an alpha mask to your frames.

Yep it's an alpha mask, but it has come from saving the Targa files from Max not from AE.

When an Alpha channel is applied and you are only saving the beauty pass, all you'll get is the rendered geometry.
