Hi,

Posting my render and need help in the following points,

need help in fixing the ies lights , why I am not getting the right effect on the wall .

How to make the ceiling lights as illuminated lights I have tried using (autodesk material library >glass> light bulb on) material but nothing is happening.

Secondly I have used blue sunset as environment map but it is not visible.

how to give the render a realistic effect?

thanks

Thanks Ismail,

Ok I will reduce the illumination . I have used free lights as ceiling lights and ies lights

The room is to scale and dimensions are in feet

The wall color is wall paint from autodesk material library > yellow color > flat/matte finish> roller option

ies light used is no.23

Yes the back wall is showing the presence of ies lights but the effect is little blotchy instead of sharp , I would like it to be as it is in realistic photos.

I feel the whole rendering has not come out realistic as I wanted and I cannot figure out the problem . Have I missed out something?

Secondly why my outside environment map is not visible and the above ceiling lights are not getting illuminated as I had put light bulb on material from autodesk material library to the caps.

Never worked with MR, however I think it has Exposure control and it would be beneficial to learn. Also, run a lighting analysis, that will point to what camera settings to use. The 'bulb material', see if it has a self illumination value or control. At worst you can probably set a light to be invisible and exclude everything but the lamps on the ceiling so that they tend to white.

Ok buddy, imsomnia now gone have to hit the bed. Looking forwards to your progress.

Hi Ruchi,

didn't use MR.

But I can suggest you,

.Make opacity of the glass of the door 50% to 100% or if there is option in MR use refraction to get see through effect.

.Use Light material for for bulbs.

.To get IES effect try increasing Power (if this option is there in MR) and adjust main light source.
