bigcahunak
Yes, you are correct Omar, and building the dual Xeon would cost you just about the same (depending on CPU speed of course).
Eric
What's a good dual Xeon motherboard? I'm looking on the Intel site and can't find their tested dual boards. AMD is great about this sort of information.
Eric
Hmm, scratch that. Didn't realize you can't select 800MHz for the dual xeon configuration.
Eric
How does this system look? Still need to find a different case, but that won't affect the cost too much in either direction. arobbert
Eric, Are the 800 mhz systems available yet?
Eric
not really sure if the 800MHz is available yet. I was looking at the Intel boards, and I don't think they had one, or at least none were popping up in their configuration wizard thing. Because of budget issues, I'm not really shopping for the newest models.
Jason Matthews
Reduce your video card a little to like the Radeon 9800 pro. You can use the money towards more RAM or bigger processors. What do you think?
