lxgrunger
reduce highlights on the metal material. For the glow; use postprocessing. you will have more control over it.
Harjeet Singh
try adding more details to wall textures and may be some lights in the corridors.
Woody79
try turning on final gather, this will add the glow around lights, also will add soft shadows etc, but be warned the render times will go up loads.

Ricardo Eloy
Yes, that is totally suicidal when working with radiosity. For the final regathering, avoid it as much as you can. I'd personally work on the lights before turning it on. It's mostly recommended when you have not-so-well-modeled meshes, but in your case I believe you can avoid it. Rescale your model to the right unit an let us know what you get, alright?
CRD
Yes, it is vital to have your scale set correctly. After you fix that try these settings: Initial Quality: 95% Refine Iterations: 50 Filtering: 1 Global Subdivision Settings: .15 meters (6 inches for me) No regathering. Regathering is next to useless in Viz 4 because it takes so long on average scenes. Viz 2005 has Adaptive Sampling which helps a lot. So look into it if you ever upgrade. Good Luck
badpixel
ok...i adjust de units in the model, and the lightS start to work like they should do. the self iluimination in the ceiling lamps is working too now...( IS FUNNY THAT A SIMPLY AND TINY THING LIKE HAVING THE WRONG UNITS CAN BE TURN INTO A BIG BAD HEADACHE!! ) i tried the radiosity set that you advice to me 90 %quality 20 intinerations 5filtering and global subsivisionsettings enable. the ilumination is better...but i think i can improve it. im happy with the map of the ceiling.....but the wall is lacking of texture an the aluminium in the windows doesnt look real.......can anyone can show me some material settings for a good paint wall and alumium....????? i would like to do that before introducing more ambientation. thanks a lot guys!!! P.S. I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT FINAL REGATHERING IS...I DONT KNOW WHAT IS IT AND I DONT FIND THE WORD IN THE DICTIONARY.
