tlunnuk
Not to beat a dead horse, but thus far my research has not definitively led me to an answer....and this is where I come for an answer. I'd like to get a new display in the next couple weeks. I have been caught between the hp zr24w, the dell u2410, and the apple cinema display 24" (though this is on the outside because of the connection to the computer and the glossy screen). In the future I will probably have 2 x 24" displays, which is why I have leaned towards at 27" monitor. My budget is comfortably around 500-600$, but for could wait a couple weeks and save up for something around $800 if it was dramatically different. I using cad, max, photoshop, and watch movies. In the past I have had printing color issues, so I will calibrate the monitor in the future, but I am unsure if I really need a wide-gamut, which more than likely is just too professional for what I need. Based on suggestions in the forum, I have been saving up for the Dell u2410, but then I read some reviews online that suggested that it had a lot of issues, plus now I can grab the hp monitor for $400. any suggestions. xaoo
@tlunnuk - I have older version of Dell monitor - Dell 2407WFP and I cannot say a bad word about it. I also had a lot of doubts as there were some bad comments about it, but it was worth the money. It has all that I need and my next purchase would definitely be Dell. Regards, xaoo P.S. In my opinion Ultra Sharp monitors have one of the best designs
3ply
I also have 2 dell ultrasharp 22" wide screen monitors. They are very crisp and bright. I have them mounted on top of each other.
