night scene?

i finally manage to finish my first interior scene with help of this forums

now, i wonder if any1 have a good night scene tutorial (i want to understand the basic of night scene)

in night scene, we dont need to add daylight system and 100% of the light come from inside the interior itself right? CMIIW

not necessarily.

 

as it gets dark tonight, leave all the lights off in your house. is it pitch black? i.e can you see your hand in front of your face?

 

it won't be pitch black.

 

you'll have, skylight (very deep blue), moon possibly? streetlights?

 

unless the room is closed off from the outside- thick closed curtains/blackout blinds, or no windows, there will always be some other light from outside.

lets say i want to use daylight system, will it work?

and what setting should i use to make it work?

what about the intensity of skylight?

what kind of light should i use inside, vray light, IES, spotlight?
