Brodie Geers
I'm often amazed by how small a PDF file size can be and still have quite a bit of info in it...until I try saving one from Photoshop. Try as I might I either tend to end up with a 15mb PSD file that suddenly turns into a 23mb PDF o.O or I get a nice small PDF but with illegible text and jpg compression marks that Helen Keller couldn't miss. Any advice on good settings for our sort of work? -Brodie
erickdt
If you have Acrobat Pro I would recommend you use it to print a PDF as opposed to saving one out from Photoshop. I find printing PDFs to be a lot easier to control. If it's not absolutely necessary for you to be saving a PDF I would also recommend Photoshops save for web feature (ctrl+shft+alt+s). It works really well for saving small (fie size wise) versions of renderings that still are of a good quality. E
Graphite
Make sure when you Print to PDF; you make it Un-Editable. Also try to bring down the DPI of the Print, Usually when Im in Photoshop I work at a DPI of 300, But once the final image is complete I drop it to 72 when printing to PDF. Hope that Helps. carlotristan3d
In Acrobat Pro, there is an option to reduce size.
