I must say, I haven't noticed Firefox to be any slower. I was going to download Thunderbird, but got put off when I read it was only in beta stage. I was going to download Thunderbird, but got put off when I read it was only in beta stage. it is not slower when it is running, only the time when i click the icon until it is running. maybe it is just my machine. i haven't had any problems with teh beta of thunderbird, i do wish it used windows address book, but oh well. Ernest Burden III
it is not slower when it is running, only the time when i click the icon until it is running. maybe it is just my machine. I have noticed that as well. The difference may be 1 - 2 seconds. But since tabs open in background, looking at a bunch of pages off a google search is many seconds faster. So there.
