New Software? How do we do this . . .

Hey Everyone, new to this site so first off. Hello!

Just curious if anyone can direct me to the software / method used to develop the 3d examples found at www.bcfloorplans.com . . .

The struggle im having is understanding how they provide this service for such a low cost and from a sketch or 2d plan i send them? They charge a $60 flat rate to develop a pretty stunning 3D Floor Plan for homes upto 5500 Sq.Ft. My only assumption is it must be an near instant process for this to be so cheap. For our 3D plans, although very nice, it is definitely not an instant process from a sketch or a 2D plan. Seems they can than create full walkthroughs and more from the same model also for a low cost. Would love to offer these services but for time it takes on our end i could never compete or be willing for $60.

Any direction / info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Thanks for the replies. Its funny you say that as I actually use chief architect. Think it would be easy but it's really not that timely at all. That's why I'm so baffled and so are chief architect moderators. outsourcing to India was my thought too but like you said, 60 bucks is too cheap. I've found one India company with similar renderings called 3d animations but there is no way they are that cheap. Never found it for less than 150 a floor.

From my research I'm thinking ... Possible laser image scanner? Plan2model into arhcicad? (this still wouldn't explain the walkthroughs) ... Maybe in house software development? Frig I'm lost, haha ... They even have there logo on the bedding models.

Thanks again for the replies. Hopefully if I leave this up for a bit we will track down some answers.
