Devin Johnston
Can an editable mesh that's already established be segmented like a plane or box can be? I want to edit the surface of geometry that was created in ArchiCAD to give it some bumps and hills using soft selection without having to recreate all of it. BrianKitts
quick an dirty way is to add an edit poly modifier on to your object, select the polygons that you want to segment and hit the "tesselate" option and increases the number of iterations to get the mesh density that you want. or you could be more precise with the editable poly you could insert vertices, and segments to manually divide the polygons. Peter M. Gruhn
I've had some crashy trouble with it, but when Graphite's "flow" works, it's nice.
Bruce Hart
Perhaps the quadify mesh modifier might help?
