RevitGary
I need fashionable people for a current rendering project. Young hip people dressed a bit funky for a night on the town. Anyone know where I can get some good images. These renderings will probably be appearing in advertisements of some sort so I am concerned about rights and incenses. Any Ideas? advice? Crazy Homeless Guy
These renderings will probably be appearing in advertisements of some sort so I am concerned about rights and incenses. What is the general consensus on this these days? More and more I am using my own people I have shot on the street because I have a better chance of capturing the exact type of people I want, but I really don't know my liabilities, or if there have been clear cases outlining this. RevitGary
I dont now either the client suggested getting images off the web. I thought this wasnt a good idea because of legalities. The site listed above and other sites that sell to the industry pretty much say reuse is ok in publications and advertising. I suggested doing a photo shoot with his employees that idea is still pending.
Crazy Homeless Guy
I would avoid trying to find people on the web. Besides the legal issues, you really are not going to find anything usable besides the sites that actually sell collections.

It's my understanding that if you're in public you have no expectation of privacy and thus it's ok. On the other hand, however, weren't the Girls Gone Wild folks sued for profiting from videos of women who didn't sign a consent form? -Brodie
RevitGary
The site above is great. Does anyone else have other resources?
Brodie Geers
Search around this site. http://vyonyx.com/2007/09/15/cutout-people-couples/ I don't think there's in terms of fashion there, but it's a free option. -Brodie
