nickdk
Is there any solid application for max that can be used to keep track of all models and materials and so on? Lets say I model a new lamp, then I would like to add it to a "furniture" library and so on? The only app i know is http://3d-kstudio.com/project-manager/ and I have been told it's quite buggy. I would guess a library manager would be used by many viz artists so there must be something better and more solid out there?
Stan Zaslavsky
check out hermidacg.com - there is a pretty good one there and it deals with both mental ray and vray rendered models ... don't know if it does materials though. update: sorry just checked the site - looks like the developer has brought the page down. but the link to download the latest version of the asset browser is still there .. so you can at least check out the trial Edited March 27, 2011 by StanZ
nickdk
Than you Stan, I'll take a look at the link! I think I might have heard about it earlier but I'm not sure. I think it's strange that there aren't any other managers out there, I would think it would be very handy with such a tool!

For testing download the utility only from an original site: http://3d-kstudio.com/download-manager.php?id=30 Regards, Alex
