Jeff Mottle
In light of the recent events in Japan, CGarchitect decided to approach a number of our friends in the industry to host a charity auction in support of the ongoing relief efforts being undertaken around the country. Thanks to the generosity of many companies in our industry we have received over $23,000 in software, hardware and entourage donations. I want to personally thank everyone who contributed for their outstanding generosity! All of the items up for auction are being sold on ebid.net at the link below. The auction starts at 12:00pm EST on Sunday April 3, 2011 and will run for 10 days. All items are being sold without reserve and will be delivered to the highest bidder. All of the proceeds raised from this auction will be donated to the Red Cross and earmarked for the Japanese relief efforts. Please bid generously. JuanManuel
Hi, I successfully won a bid to one of the items (strata design cx, yay!). I also payed via paypal. I'm new to ebid (and bidding in general), so what comes now? I have only received a confirmation from paypal that the money was sent, but not from cgarchitect or ebid. Is this normal, and I just have to be patient? Anyway, it is nice to be able to help, and get an excellent piece of software at the same time! Jeff Mottle
You'll get an email from me shortly. THere are a lot of people and winnings to coordinate (Around 90+ emails) and I'm about half done. I'm also in Europe on business, so it's taking a bit longer, but you should see something in the next day or so. Sorry for the delay. Cheers, Jeff
