solar study animation text

I'm trying to render an sun study animation with a script I downloaded.

In the viewport the text automatically updates the date and time, but when rendering this text does not update with each frame that is rendered... any ideas?

You should use the script in the Pre-Render group (on render panel -> common -> Scripts) or make a callback to launch the script before render every frame.

thanks Jan for your feedback...I tried using the script int he pre-render group but this only works for the first frame of the animation...could you give me more information on the callback or a tutorial that might help me understand what you're talking about... i'm unfamiliar with max scripting thanks
