Hi Myron

Sketchup is a surface modeller - and a damn good one too it you are an architect and want to do sketch models.

Depending on which specicfic type of Autocad you are using you could try modelling mass elements in Autocad - they convert seemlesly to Sketchup - Solids do not.

@Last software also has a plugin for Autocad that´ll convert models from Sketchup to Mass elements in Autocad. Take a look at the tuts on the Sketchup website.

Yep,

SU does not see the solids. You can still model with solids, just export out to a 3ds file (which conversts to surfaces) and re-import back into Autocad. SU can read the dwg or dxf file so now all your work can be used in SU.

As for the extension RAS talked about... I've not seen it, nor did I know it existed. Ras, could you please supply a link to this plugin.

Cheers
